I built my own Record & Play Dancing Cactus using an Arduino Mega, TFT display, and voice recording/playback module. 🌵🎤
The idea is simple: the cactus listens while your voice is being recorded, then plays the recorded sound back while the cactus reacts and dances on the TFT display.
For this project I used:
– Arduino Mega
– 3.5″ TFT Display
– Voice Recording / Playback Module
– Speaker
– Supporting electronic components
I wanted to try a different type of Arduino project instead of a normal sensor project, so I combined voice recording, playback, Arduino control, and a dancing cactus character into one project.
This project took a lot of testing and experimenting to get the recording/playback idea and cactus movement working the way I wanted.
